There wasn't alot of racers but the racers that were here were serious and wanted the checker flag in a rare Friday night race. Trying to give the racers a jump start on the 2005/2006 indoor season we ran a rare Friday night show because of a previous commitment on Saturday.
In the Big Block class there was 5 racers. It looked as it was going to be a battle from the start of the A main. Chico Taylor jumped out to early lead with 4 guys breathing down his neck. After getting spinning in he corner with another car Chico handed the lead to Eric Beadle. He spun out in the corner low and Erv Miller took the lead. Eric wasn't able to recover and finished second. Bob Snyder rounded out the top three.

Erv Miller turned the fastest lap in A Main at 3.402 seconds
Pro Trucks had two guys show up. Tom Taylor took both heats and looked like a sure win in the A main. But Jeff Kloos keep working on his truck and was right there the whole race. If it wasn't for a early race spin that cost him a lap it would have been a battle to the end.

Tom Taylor turned the fastest lap in A Main at 3.769
The 18 T class should be one of the closest classes this year. Hoagie Shephard got a truck on Wendsday and decided to give it a try tonight. He had some really good laps but just needs a few more laps to get use to the quick steering of the little trucks. Steve Thompson was able to pick up the speed he had last year and easily take the win.

We will be returning to our regular race nights of Wendsday and Saturday
starting next week. Both nights racing will start at 7:00 with the doors opening at 4:00. We have already heard from a bunch of guys that couldn't make tonight who said they'll be there next week. Hope to see more guys come out and have a fun night of racing.
