I'm getting ready to stock up on some silicone tires.I have the tjet/JL thing pretty well figured out.But it's the G Plus and G3 cars that I am wondering about.

I've been using the silicone coated sponge tires on them. They're great, but they don;t seem to last too long.
I think what I am going to do is switch over to slip ons with these cars.It will cost me a lot less to stock a few sizes of each diameter tire that way.I'd go broke if I did that with sponges.

So what would be the best hubs to use???? Does anyone make different diameter slip ons for the stock Super G rims????

Any help would be appreciated.

I assume you mean Tomy Super G+? Sure, just get some of the 0.250 dual flange hubs that Wizzard sells. They are the best bang for the buck. The white ones are part number RA15W. They cost about $2.00 a pair at retail. Always mount these hubs with a wheel press on an axle that you've chamfered the ends on. I use 0.059 axles and spacers instead of a gear boss so I can swap the mounted wheel set with gear between any of my cars.

You can order slip-ons in many different diameters from any silicone tire seller, like SuperTires, JWs, Rocket Science, etc.

For example: http://www.supertires.com/specs.htm

Any of the Tyco sizes from .418 - .442 will fit those hubs.

FYI - I use these same hubs on my race prepped AFX, G-Plus, and XT cars.

Yeah,I meant for the Super G+ cars.....

Thanks for the response. Now I at least have some direction.I'm interested to see how they do performance wise against the sponge ones I have.

Silicone coated sponge tires are the best performing tires available - period. Slip ons will be a step down in performance but will save you a lot of money. I wouldn't even think of using silicone coated sponge for anything other than organized racing.
