Anywhere in or around Mall of America to look for JLs? Going there this weekend.

Also, how about any good hobby shops?

Thanks,

They had a KB there back in 2002 on the third floor. There's a TRU and Target down the interstate a ways (east if I remember correctly, but it's a pain to get off to get to).

Best thing to do is go to a TRU website, look at their store locator and type in a store address from the Mall. That's what I do when I'm on travel.

Last time I was there, the KB had literally 12 items in it....Going out of Business
They have a small diecast shop that has tons of them, but High prices compared to the other stores around. Like $10 bucks a car! The store is located near the elevators I think....Everytime I went it was crowded and hard to look for ones I wanted, but its been a couple months since so maybe it's changed....

If you are taking I90/94 Madison has a TRU right off the 151 exit...over by the cracker barrel, and then don't bother with the any Wally worlds from there to Eau Claire....nothing new...filled with peg warmers big time...Haven't went much past Eau Claire Too far to drive....

KB is gone, There is a couple diecast stores in the mall but, It's mostly(High Priced)NASCAR and NHRA stuff. One of the camp Snoopy stores has diecast but it's hit and miss. The TRU west of the mall blows bigtime, I'm always pissed that I wasted time and gas to get there. and Wyatt is right about being a major pain to get to.Can't tell you about the Target as I have never been in that one.Have fun at the Mall, Try the NASCAR race and then walk next door to Tony Romas and have some ribs......MMMMMMMM Ribs.

P.S If your coming in Sat I think there is a die cast show, Try and get ahold of Mark (Dipstick) he knows were it's at.

Hub Hobby is a great hobby shop. They have a bunch of everything. That would probably be the only one I would suggest for a hobby shop with diecast.
You'll want the Richfield location, 6410 Penn Ave S.
Scott filled you in on the rest of the diecast hunting up their.

about 2 months ago I was there looking for JL............never bought a thing, poor selection

but there was a diecast store that had plenty of odd diecasts, many/most of them bigger than 1/64 if your looking for bigger stuff you will find some of them but 1/64 selection wasn't very good
