Looks like the place to be, how can I miss out on the opportunity to do more racing? Racing at 6? I'll be there in time to do some practice runs.

I wanna go... but the street I live in has about 2 feet of water across it!! Had to drive thru a literal pond tonite to get home, not sure what it's gonna look like in the morning... guess time will tell.

I had a blast tonight!!! got the car working well, but there is more in it.
But hey a win and track record first time out @ madness with the Undertaker is sweet!
And the TQ 3800's, can you say YANK...The Ice is real nice,good job Mark S. and who else helped with that addition to the track.

Was a great run Nick. Track was alot of fun with the ice on the inside, no richochet shots off the inside and being sent to the outside wall. How many times did we have all six cars on the same straight? The racing was close and clean. Will be even more fun the next time I'm sure. Thanks Chris, as always you run an awesome show.

racing was a blast tonite.. so many cars all so close.. haven't seen that good of racing in a long time. Nick great run in the main too! Win or lose, racing that close with guys like you is always a good time, and the fact that we all kept getting faster every run all night long shows that when you get a good group like that, it pushes everyone to perform, that's how we all get better! I'm looking foreward to a fun oval season in Enfield this year.. maybe in a few weeks we can even get a 19 turn class going if guys wanna do it. If not.. the stock is fine too. Oh, and everyone in the main all finishing on the same lap.. amazing, esp. on a track that size!

Mark, Chris, awesome job with the ice and the track.. dont' change a thing! That track size is perfect, makes for really good racing, and tons of fun. Keep it like that.. the crowd is gonna grow for sure.

ok guys here it is i am planning on setting up the track form now on so this is the deal i am going to measure 10 feet off both walls and put the ice down this should makew the track 6/8 feet longer a side then last week and this way it will always be the same is that cool with everyone ? second note if you guys want to inforce motor rule by all means do it we will not say what motor in stock can be run just like i will not say you guys can only run c2 in 19 turn because thats all the store carries . so its up to you make a decision on what motors (by the way jason you had the fastest car for 2.5 minutes ) see you guys again soon .

can someone fill me in on this possible motor rule. i missed this past sat.(and all this time they told me motors dont win races, setups do.)

I think it's a good idea to make the track longer. But it must be the same after that the change, no changing from week to week. I do think it will help racing not hurt it. i watch alot of the racing and say that their wasn't alot of clean passing with the short track layout. Mark I'll get my 1/12 together soon.

i will make sure the track does not change size that is why i will measure off the wall every time i put the track down .. as for motor rules we have never had one and we will not (unless its a hand out race) but some people did not like the fact that others were using 4 mag motors and they were not this is up to the racers if you guys want to make it were you can only run 2 mag stuff make that decision for your selfs we will not make it for you ..

The only problem with the 4 magnet motor Mark is that no other track lets us use them ever... so most guys, unless they happen to have gotten them as a handout dont' have them, and it's hard to justify buying them if we can't use them everywhere that we normally go.

Personally, I'd prefer to run 19 turn anyway, and if the track is going to be made longer, it would probably only make doing so easier.

As long as the track stays the same size week to week, I'm fine with the change.

As for having the fastest car for 2.5 minutes... dunno why.

I say keep the track the same. We marked the length 2 weeks ago and it has been the exactly the same for 3 weeks in a row. I think we would all agree the racing has been close and exciting for weeks now. The track is too narrow for any more length, in my opinion, and force an unnatural arc in the corners, like a paper clip.
As for quads, noone ran one that I was aware of, I asked, as a courtesy to the other drivers if they would mind if I tried one in the 3rd heat, not because I thought they might be illegal, after all, drivers I raced against for the past two weeks were running them, but I suspected noone else had any in thier box. But of course a few disgruntled drivers objected "just because" it might increase thier chances of winning this world renown race. Oh yeah, the quad motor in question was handed out at this very track last season!
Lucky for me, the 2 mag monstor I ran instead set TQ for the nite! Long track, short track, red cells, blue cells doesnt matter to me, I,m in it for the fun, some drivers still take sat. night club racing so serously as to not let someone run a quad motor for 1 run to see what it would do, probably nothing. Save the stress for the big events boys, loosen up and have fun!

the track runs an unnatural arc right now. it's to short, ands drives as a circle, and will be even worse when running 19 turn. Bob how many clean passes did you make saturday night with the current layout, I didn't see any that were not against a car .03 slower then you.

i will set up the track saturday night longer and if i see that the car do not work as well i will shorten it bvack up but i do agree with mike i just run a crap load of left trim in my car when i was running sk and hardly turned l the wheel .. as for the 4 mag stuff its up to you guys not us .. and bob one more week of winnig stock and you have to move up to 19 turn :p when the crowd is here

whatever the track length you make mark, it will be fine.as far as the 4 mags. is the reason they dont want to run them because they have to buy one just for here?most of us have to buy different tires and pretty much keep a different car just for k/n than anywhere else. 30 bucks is a joke compared to that.

Long is good
