What do you all do with your SF matchboxes?
I save all my SF matchboxes when I open them. Love the artwork, but don't really use them except I have some storage cases and put an empty box in one of the slots to remind me that the whole side of the case is for SF cars.

Any other good ideas or suggestions?

Not a bad idea, but I have purchased and/or made wall displays to show the model with their respective boxes. I know it is twice as big however I really like the art work as well along with the MB models. Olesarge90/Gill :wave:

..I store the boxes flat when the car is out on display...
...when I store the car..I put them back in their box and store them in a shoe box.

The artworks the reason I get the set, I keep them in their packs for that reason. Plan on setting up a wall display for them eventually.

Thinking about buying some duplicates to rip open.

Right now I just place them in a big box where I keep all the cards and stuff that come with the JL's. No immediate plans right now. Maybe when I get a lot of them I'll make some kind of display to hang on a wall.

I agree in regards to having the specific car drawn as art on the card and the 'extra' being a 'matchbox' with the car artwork on it as well. But I also think JL has a good thing going with latest art on their SF cards with the 'extra' being a 'card' with a picture or illustration of the car.
The quality artwork makes it harder to open the package because they look so nice the way they're packaged. So for castings I really like, if possible, I get a second copy to open.

ll mine are still on card, cant bring myself to open them, besides, the cat plays with everything that rolls. I made some simple little things to display them on the wall in the card
