Anyone still racing online NASCAR type games?

I ran an online race league for 5 years,big fun!!! I stoped the league when I returned to RC racing (3 seasons ago) but there are thousands of leagues still running.
the best game with out dought is nascar racing 2003 season.
noteable leagues are Onlineracing.com, theuspits.com, flashpointracing.com
just to name a few.

I ran online when I got out of R/C in 2001. I started with Nascar Racing 4 and I ended with Nascar Racing 2003 Season updated to 2004 by "Wildfire"........

I raced in all the "big" SuperSpeedway races (TSW500, etc..)...... and also VRW (Virtual Racing World).

I was just wondering how many still race r/c and online, because when I was online racing, it was amazing how many r/c racers that I had met over my 10 years in the hobby were turning to online gaming.......

the only nascar on line game was nascar 4!!!!!! the rest just sucked!
i played online for 3 years and retired the only 16 rank at dega noone retired with a 16 at any track! do you guys know there was a series that went to different regions and rented out hotel ball rooms? they came to florida and mike blackstock came down. do you have any idea just how many rc racers ran or still run online ? something like 60% of the guys who ran online owned or raced r/c cars at one point or time! i went and bought a 900.00 custom wheel and maybe 6 months later and TEN went belly up. it than opened the doors for little kids on AOL to run backwards on the track and destroy your rating in seconds! if they brought back TEN and made you pay to race i would buy a wheel and run online again in a second!

there are about 40 more guys who could run dega online and finish 100's of seconds apart every race! i finished races in a sweat and at 3 am! i loved TEN and nascar 4

repete fusco hooked me up with set-ups for the game! he was also a world champion r/c racer back in the very early 80's

mike boylan has a league called thunder racing..i think he still plays on-line
i gave it up because of AOL and lack of a ranking system that prevented the little kids from hacking all day. and this was all done with dial up! since TEN went out of business i never had the urge to go back. TEN was the best 12.00 a month i ever spent!

Me, Kimbrough and afew other RC Guys race with CyberCupRacing.com and have a blast... I have been in the middle of moving and just got back online so I havn't run the new version (someone took the Sierra 03 Season and made it 05 and I have heard is is awesome)... I just downloaded/bought the rFactor game that is suppose to be the "next stage" in online racing, its pretty cool.

I came onto the scene right before the end of N4. My screenname on it was "N4_Intimidator".
After that my online racing was like drug...lol....

I shared my SS setups with the likes of TJ Majors, Dale Earnhardt, Jr, etc...... It was a blast. Jr said my setups was "too loose" for him....lol.....

I may start back running, I need a race fix for during the week :)

speaking of r/c guys and what there up to??? i haven't seen you around these parts in awhile steve! repete fusco was djarret88 on ten he was unreal fast and had the best set-ups for dega period! blackstock sent me a 40 deg dega set-up and it had at least 100% dual rate,lol. he likes steering!

i haven't talked to fusco in 4 or 5 years he has kids and he told me his kids were getting into r/c ...keep an eye on race results....he was very cool.....roman pemberton and his brothers raced online as well. how about the fixed set-ups races..they were like I roc races..man those were the days!

i did the online racing thing back a few years ago,, i did alot of racing in dirt track racing , and the sprint outlaw, and nascar 4. i was a member of team mod of rick cranks dirtwizzard site,, i edit and made tracks for dirt track racing, waycross motorspeedway , golden isles speedway and my most favorite i did was bulls gaps speedway. my mod screen name was dirtshark, and nascar was bigdon18. made alot friends and had alot of fun doin it.
