He says its a slot car body on a pullback chassis. What's the problem?

Did they make pullbacks that snapped in? I thought the mechanism always screwed in.

The "ThunderJets" pullbacks are snap-on bodies that have an AFX mounting system. They are meant to work on AFX, MT, XT, G-Plus, Turbo, SRT, SG+, and G3 chassis. Not all do. The ones that don't work usually have clearance problems with the chassis' pickup shoe hangers or they just don't sit right on the chassis. Ironically, the pictured Viper body is one of the worst fitting bodies JL ever did. It's way too far up in the front. It doesn't even sit very well on the XT chassis that it ships with. The moral of the story is that there are a lot of different bodies out there with AFX mounting slots, and a lot of different chassis out there with AFX mounting tabs, but not every body will work on every chassis. The pull-back Vipers fit pretty good on Turbo and SRT chassis but the XT versions do not fit any better on a Turbo than on an XT.
The "ThunderJet 500" pullbacks are screw-on bodies designed for the Aurora TJet chassis. They will usually work a JL TJet 500 chassis, but not perfectly. The JL TJet chassis is not exactly the same wheelbase as the Aurora and it uses the TuffOnes style wheels and tires. Main issues are tire rub in the wheelwells and top gear rub on the underside of the body. In cases where JL reused the pullback bodies for the slot cars they often moved the post and in a lot of cases made the posts taller to avoid tire rub. This resulted in a lot of the slot cars having a jacked up look.
