Curt12 10-15-2005, 12:16 AM Hey Guys just wanted to give a heads up.
The track is not the same as AJs oval. This one is about 3ft longer at each end. It's long & the corners are tighter, Paper clip comes to mind. Turn 3&4 are 12ft from the wall. 1&2 are about 14ft from the wall. I am running 4300 brushless. Tonite I rolled at 2.28 laptimes were at best 5.1 & 5.2. Don't know it that is fast or not. Knowing the way I run the fast guys will prob turn 4.8 & 4.9.
Oh Yea there is LOTS of traction!!
See Ya, Curt
Sonny B 10-16-2005, 06:33 PM Good night of racing at IRP. Thanks to Shane and Mike for giving us a great place to race.
Hope to see more guys at the next one.
pmsimkins 10-16-2005, 10:56 PM Thanks again for letting us run oval. The program ran well and I liked the new carpet and slightly revised layout.
wiscentral52 10-17-2005, 08:51 PM Any hotels in the area? What are you running for tires for the stock class?
haysreeling 10-17-2005, 09:06 PM Steve,
Down there you will probably want to run black RF, Grey LF, White rears. Its a higher traction track than westbend. At triclone you'll probably want 3 whites and a black, or 3 whites and a grey. You may want to play around with the RF.
uspancarchamps 10-18-2005, 04:33 AM MaxSpeed you got PM
Shane R 10-20-2005, 03:15 PM All the results from the race on the 15th are now up on the website. You can view every heat and main with all the lap times. Just go to results on the website and select the Oct. 15 date and you are there.
