Well, I tried to post a POLL and screwed it up.....

Post here what batteries you think we should allow to run at this race. Also post what class you plan to run.

Kenny, I'm planning on being there, looks like it might just be us local racers attending, we will just have to wait and see, I hope there is still some people interested in one last outdoor event??? :confused:

Yes, there is a Super 8 pretty close to the track. I will try and find the number for you. I believe that is where Rodney Clark stayed while he was here......

The Super 8 is ok, clean room and won't break the bank to stay there. Its a little small in the parking lot if you have a 3/4 or 1 ton.


Go online and look it up the rate is WAY cheaper than calling first. Just make sure you tell them when you call that this was the rate you saw online.

Personal transponders will be used. If you don't have one...... I have 12 :)

Super 8 is good enough for what you need it for. A place to take a shower and sleep, you will be making laps the rest of the time. Go online to Super 8 home site and it is the Super 8 in Florence AL, it's probaly 5 min. from the track, and I think rates were like $40-$45 a night.

Kenny I hate it but I'll have to miss this one. Have friends stopping that Sunday for a visit while heading back to Ft Walton Beach.
