I am looking for the closest banked (concrete/asphalt)speedway to Indianapolis IN. I'm just getting back into oval and I'm looking for a place to race.

The closest is either the Triclone in WI, or the track in Henderson TN. There are, however, a few flat carpet tracks that are much much closer. Stout Field will begin running again this saturday (west of downtown). Cincinnati has a first rate facility, and Ft. Wayne are also good bets for flat carpet oval. Lafayette also has a very nice indoor dirt oval.

There's also the velo, however, I believe they are done for the year.

ther is also indy slots on the south side of indy.very small though.

Don't forget Major Taylor Velodrome , NW of downtown. racing in the summer.

also a carpet oval flat track in Evansville

Dr anybody gonna do any truck racin at Stout?? Me and the kid may bring our trucks out a couple times this yr.
