This one isn't in the best condition, but It's the only one I have. It's a 1959 Pontiac Star Chief Made from 1961 - 1969.

Although I generally seak out mint to near mint vintage pieces for my collection, I think I prefer the really played with tootsietoys. They have character.

I take either. when a mint example is not avaiable I'll take a beater no problem. If I find a better one later OK if not at least I have an example.

at least beaters like the one gerald has can still be enjoyed by kids i have lots mostly lesneys but kids still play with them, i repaint some that i like ,have mint ones with the little boxes , all part of collecting what you like .liked the older pontiac also gerald .we had a 49 wagon granpa ,s old car ,the hood ornament used to light up at night ,l.o.l. dont know if it was add on ,or original .
