My dig. cam. pix are to big to download. does anyone know how to re-format them? I have windows xp I think. Do I need to by a program to resize them? I have a HP pix program but can't figure out how to get my 194KB pix to go to 50KB's. I have some really cool customs to post. Thanks a bunch!!!!

The only way I have found to effectively downsize my pics is to use a public photo sharing web site. I use photobucket( www.photobucket.com ). There is an edit feature there that allows the user to change the size of the pics. I have never found a way to change the size of my pics using editing software. I have photoshop(it came with my didgital camera) and it is a good program, but I haven't found a way to downsize pics with it. I use the editing software to edit my picture to my liking, then I transfer it to photobucket and edit to the proper size. It is easy posting the pics from there too.
Good luck.

In Photoshop, go to edit, then image size, then put in whatever size you would like and it will resize it. Rmember to go down slowly, you can always go smaller, but if you try to go bigger it will look grainy
