THEIR BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were requested, now they are back in full scale production. Body's formerly done by Bolink are now "WINDTUNNEL BODY WORKS". Murdock R/C & Performance has officialy entered the body business. I have (in case you hadn't heard) aquired what remained of bolink/racetech which did include the body business. All current bodies are once again in full scale production. I am very excited to have been able to bring back this line of bodies for my fellow oval racers. The current line up will consist of: The 1/12 Monte Carlo #2038, HD Monte Carlo #2222, Reg Monte Carlo #2242, Ford Taurus #2241, Ford Taurus XHS #2249, D Type #2235, D Type HD #2214. These bodies have been very popular in the past and I hope that they will be again now. But, Im not stopping there. The next generation body's are already on the drawing board to further compete in the high speed oval racing of today.

The website has been updated to include the Windtunnel bodies and their part numbers in the hobby shop section. I would also like to Thank Steve Rule for working with me on this project. Thanks SR

I really appreciate all the support shown here and by email everyone. Thank you

Kenwood: out of the current line up the HD Monte or either of the D Types will be your better choice on flat carpet. I myself have had real good success with the HD D type.

For Tracks such as classic, sandhills, K&N for example I know the Taurus #2241 is a great choice.

10-04-2005, 10:55 PM
Hey a price would be nice wouldnt it. They are going to be $16.50 each at this time and available through us here at the shop.

If anyone would like to get an order in feel free to do so but the first wave is due in here on Thursday. I did have a limited number of them here already but as of today they are all gone. 1/12th MC, hd D type, Taurus, hd Monte are due in this week and the others should roll in the next week sometime. Window mask will not be in the first batch but will be on the next. We felt that getting them going and out to the drivers as quickly as possible was the first priority.

I have a question, will you also be producing the older / nostalgia bodies? We run a spec class & require 70's & earlier bodies & Bolink used have some great older cars & now they are next to impossible to find. Hopefully you will be bring those back as well? Thanks.

Hey Rob

Are you going to have any plans on re-submitting these back to ROAR for approval? And if so are you aware of the changes that will have to be made in order to do so?

Rob Murdock;

Are you also aware of the wonderfull new world of: "Officially Licenced Products" and the co$t$ involved?
Please don't interpret this message as something to intimidate. Certainly not my intention - I thrive on fair competition. It's just that the game has changed drastically in the last few years. Just wanted to make sure you enter this venture with your " eyes wide open".

DALE EPP-PROTOform;

I appreciate your interest in Windtunnel Body Works. Im Knowledgeable in the licensing of products through one of my other businesses and what is involved. And my eyes are wide open and fully aware of the details and cost involved. I look forward to friendly competition with you in the body business.

For those of you wondering about approval with the R/C sanctioning bodies. All sanctioning bodies involved have been contacted for re-introducement under the new name. We have them on a fast track for approval and the sanctioning bodies have been most cooperative. Since this is only a change in manufacturers and this body is being re-introduced and since the physical specs have not been changed under which it was previously sold, the 30 day rule should be waived.

i dont really know, there seems TO ME that theres ups and downs to both

Built in:
-Good:
-adds strenght
-Bad
-Cant trim it down if you want

Bolt On:
-Good
-Can trim it
-Easier to paint a different color
-Bad
-Does help with ridgitity but not as good as built in

So i guess its up to yu guys!! But whatever you guys do GREAT!!! Go for it!!!
Cant wait for the next generation!!!! will probably have to try one or two!!

Guys theres 4 good body manufacturers now!!!!

Thanks

This was already asked, so if you already answered it I apologize.

Are you actually forming the bodies or is Steve doing it?

SRule@bolink
10-07-2005, 01:26 PM
It's all Rob guys... I have all the molds for sale and he pick up the Oval ones... I am in the Fireworks business now, anybody need any SkyRockets, lol.

BAR 26- If you run at a track that lets you cut the back of the bodies all the way out you can trim the molded on spoilers down... just don't go to far cause you can't add it back. I always like the molded on ones because I am lazy :)

Hey Rick... been busy playing Mr Mom :freak: and running the eBay store. I got into a deal with a buddy of mine to set up all the firework stand for TNT in the state of SC, 144 total in 5 days! While we were driving to each one we got to kicking around ideas to start our own stands, so when we got back in town we found a place and set one up, I couldn't beleave the $$ that could be made. Now we are working on more, I am looking to have 2 of my own stands for the New Years season and trying for 5 by next July 4th. Its alot of fun, mainly getting to try out all the new products, lol.

Bjr20- The eBay store is shut down right now, I was in the middle of moving and was having to go to Kinko's for the internet, it was to big of a pain to try to keep up. I am looking into changing the name when we reopen it to get the "close out" off of it. Everyone that has bought anything for us will be getting an email next week with all the new info.

WT#2241 1/10 Taurus: Excellent choice for banked concrete and carpet

WT#2249 1/10 Taurus xhs: Primarily used on the velodrome track due to speed

WT#2242 1/10 Monte carlo: another good option on banked concrete/asphalt or carpet

MURDOCKRC

Thanks for the support B-man777. We did aquire some other things that will or are available already. Two things that are now also available is the Pivot ball tool for installing and removing pivot balls from front ends. Gear pullers are also available now. And real soon the Shur lubes will be back on the market with more even more choice in thickness. We are going to drop the lightest one but add at least three others. So, there will be in the near future 6 different shur lubes available for tuning your front end or damper tubes.
