Jay's Race Place currently has the Tyco 440X-2 GTP Nisseki, taka-Q, and From-A Porsches available for $29.95 each. These are those cars listed in various places without windshields, usually for $22.95 -- but he found a source for some black windshields and is including those with the cars. Sharp looking cars.
Side note while I'm here... I picked up three of the Marchon GTP cars last week. They have some very strong traction magnets. Overall lap times come close to the SRT's and SG+'s on my road course. They seem to handle better but lack the top end speed. Nice cars.

With the Marchons, look out for Jeeps with copper coloured motors & swap them out for even more speed.

i think marchons are very underated chassis
for a cheap thrill, go to slot car world http://www.slotcarworld.com/ and buy several marchon chassis for for $3 each (part # 22463), the ones with the funky box/circuit on top. then get a lexan body. attach the lexan body to the chassis using the screws that hold the box/circuit to the chassis (no having to mount body posts!!!). throw the box/ciruit away. paint the lexan body yourself, or get one already painted on ebay. for $3 plus what you spend on the lexan body you will get a car that will give a P2 a run for the money. yes the P2 is still a better car, but its still a cheap thrill. the marchon chassis uses the same type of mabuchi can motor that is in the tomy turbo and the SRT. and it comes with stock neo magnets, although some of the magnets are of rather poor quality, and the chrome plating of the magnet flakes off (several of the marchon chassis i got from slot car world suffered that fate; purely a cosmetic issue).
plus the bright orange chassis look "cool".
if you want to get fancy, you can replace the flaking stock marchon neo magnets with other neo magnets using superglue or black max.
i have used marchon chassis for several diecast conversion of firetrucks with good success. i simply glued the diecast on top of the marchon chassis after minor grinding of the wheelwells for clearance.
another cheap thrill is to get an artin HO chassis (same mabuchi can motor and better quality neo magnets) and add a lexan body by grinding off the mounting tabs and using doubled sided tape (can you tell i dont like adding mounting tubes to chassis?). you used to be able to get artin HO cars for $4 each direct from Artin in NY (now NJ), but it appears they stopped doing that. Now the only source i know is slot car world, and the price has doubled to $8 each.
i have pics i can post if anyone is interested

Dangit, I've been meaning to get a bunch of Artins from the headquarters in NY, but I never got around to it...
round tuits are getting harder and harder to come by...
