I have one and may have to sell it to further the resto of my real 72 340,but only if it's really gonna be worth it as it's one of my favorites.

Anyone know production #'s on the chase cars?

Sweet ride, and a nice find. Production run on the Chase Cars can vary, but we understand it as 1% - 3% of production. It's surprising that these things don't go for more because they are much more limited than any other "chase" vehicle out there, including the White Lightning.

rumor has it they were about 170 to 200 made. one of the dealers at the parsippany show will have one this month on the 27th.

Sure is pretty though, I just love those chrome cars!!

I was told by my Sales rep at RC2 that they are 5% of the run. I believe he said there were 1600 of each made.....so thats like 80 total.

I would say that is accurate! I just love most of the TRU chase cars. Never seen that one, I have the regular version though. If you have a price, pm me. Thanks, Steve.

PS. Still looking for the TRU 69 Shelby chase :D << it's this color too
