--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ive been racing hyperdrive chassis's for over 5 years now and have been 100% satisfied. i got the new pro 3 about 3 weeks ago and for some reason i cant get the car to "hook up"? im having problems in the center of the corner. the right front loads up and really upsets the car. i run at the world of hobbies in cincinnati ohio. its a flat track very smooth and close to the snowbirds layout ,a little shorter. ive tried numerous setup combinations and im running out of options and i really dont want to stray from hyperdrive! i hope someone out there can give me some advice i would greatly appreciate it thanks

Eric... I believe originally he was running 3 double pinks and a double purple>> then he went to 3 painks and double purple> then we went to a Grey/silver, white front and white, white/gray rear... We have tried about 16 different combos..

Rollout wise setup wise he was the same or even better than what my Custom works car was>>> However he was/is about 3 laps or better off the pace..

Im dumbfounded/worried myself>> I also have a PRO3 car that Ive yet to run..But If I cant get it to run the times my CW car runs Ill be selling or trading it...

Is his T-plate bent or tweaked. Or something in the pod bent, side piece ?

Sometimes if nothing is working its often the result of something being tweaked

RF spring collapsing cause its too soft or worn out ? That will cause the Car not to hold tweak?

I dont know, just thowing things out there?

Is the car wanting to lift the left rear in center of the turn?

I agree with erock, check the RF spring. Is there sag in the RF? What was the set-up used as far as the springs and oils. Is the track high bite if so goto a harder RF tire. Maybe like a Black or Silver.
Just some thoughts.

The front springs seem good...He runs a little more droop than I would BUT I doubt he would be collapsing the whole spring...they looked new to me..10K fluid ect... The t-plate should be fine...we put 2 different ones in the car.

BUT whats disturbing is he is running this new car> has pout it together well> and I was running his OLD 700, and with the exception of the main> beating him with his old car.. His new car build wise looks 1000 times better> he is a good driver...Its just wierd>>>Everything on that car is NEW... Radio, ESC, batteries, servo, motors, chassis, body etc etc... Tim literally bought brand new everything.. Hence why I have been able to run his old car...

We have been making minor changes with spring angle and front end..The car has picked up a lap or so>>BUt we are still waaayyy off the pace with it.. Hopefully this week when I go to dial mine in I can find the magic setup number and just copy it over to his...Ive had quite a few guys offer up some setup help on them.. We shall see what happens..

RF is a green standard wolfe... droop is Just off the block race ready.. Not enough droop to measure...fully loaded you will see the thing just releive off the block..

Is the car wanting to lift the left rear in center of the turn?

No that was my car...LOL... my CW car was doing that >>But my CW car doing that was 4 laps faster than his was saturday..

I had to add LR weight to cure that..Im not sure what was causing it tried a lot of things to fix it...But bumping up the LR weight cured it..

Is it a slider or solid? Is the t-plate in the center or offset?Looking forward to getting back there sometime soon!!!!

Kenwood

Yes Ill definately come up there... As much as I dont want to admit it I have ROOTS in zanesville... most of my family lived up there...Some of them are still there.. HOWEVER last time I raced there it was a Banked asphalt oval...LOL

We had a really slow week...Some of it was weather related, the other was the concrete nats..

check the chassis plate,.. take the car apart, and lay it on a flat surface.. Itr could be tweaked.. ive seen this happen with the associated car a few times... also twist the chassis and check for any flawed flex or movement.. and lastly email barry.. im sure he would help you out with you problem.. something has to be wrong..

With the chassis being able to "twist" as much as it does on the new Hyperdrive, I would say soften the front springs. Too hard of a spring and it's just gonna slide the right front tire.
Just my opinion.......

No.. not that Im aware of... John run fast with his, another guy roger runs brushless with his, he is doing well.. Im not concerned that the car is the culprit...Just some issue we are overlooking somewhere... there was also a newb running brushless with one for the fist time last week...His was surprisingly fast and working well...Im sure its just something setup wise thats been overlooked..
