Ok the handle broke off on my pull start and when I attempted to get the rope back out the spring popped out. Is there any way to wind it back in and repair or whats next? Its a 6.5 HP Briggs engine. I could surely use some diagrams if at all possible this thing flew apart on me.

you can wind the spring up by hand, or put the rop on the pulley there, hook the spring back in the shroud, wind it up that way, then when it got good and "springy" pull the rope out of the hole there and hook it to the handle. its pretty easy when you get use to it, also i'd go ahead and replace the rope, its pretty cheap.
