I have a TMaxx that I would like to race against some Revos, MGT's, and other trucks. My question is, can I make my TMaxx into a racer? And if so, what would you guys suggest? Thanks.

BAR 26 10-03-2005, 04:29 PM I dont quite know what you would do for that but i think that if you post that in the GENERAL DISCUSIONS form that alot more ppl would answer. i find that not alot of ppl come to the monster truck section. Mames 10-03-2005, 10:40 PM yes you can make it into a racer, cut weight and get some tires. what motor are you running?? but this is a big but. it will take some money to do this and be competive where you could get a revo and go from there with less money...trust me i have $1,200 in my t-maxx and i have only went half way with the full race conversion. but let me know i will help anyway i can... matt smojoe 10-04-2005, 04:40 PM the best(and by best I mean cheapest) way to get a Tmaxx to run with Revos is to sell the Tmaxx and buy a Revo (unless you want to spend a few grand on it like Mames said) boostd2valve 10-11-2005, 12:55 AM you can do it....but like said before, save some time and cash and just get a revo and go from there...my 2 cents kybob 10-20-2005, 07:24 PM take out alot of weght get an os 18 and strengthen the drive line, diffs, trans t4racer 10-21-2005, 03:04 AM basically that is the only way to do it. I tried keeping the stock motor and cutting weight and moving the gas tank and getting tires. I never got first. I came in second against mgt's and a revo but never first. I think a .18 and strengthed drivetrain should be the first thing to do. I now run a t4 with reedy brushless. Fastest thing on the track:) vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
