Whats that tire rack made out of? It really adds a great touch. Hey Dip, if you see this, what about some 1/64 jerry cans/gas cans? Would that be possible? dipstick 10-01-2005, 05:29 PM working on a whole lot more than that. .................. ;) YellowBronc 10-01-2005, 06:03 PM working on a whole lot more than that. .................. ;) Sweeeeet! CJTORINO 10-01-2005, 06:09 PM Wow, Thats sweet! I need a couple of those on my shelf. Great work Gunn. gunn 10-01-2005, 06:57 PM all parts can be ordered from mini-motorsonline.com except the tubing and the rods that go threw the tubing to give it strength. i redesigned the trailer buy buying 2 wheelie bars from dip and one trailer. the wheelie bars are the sides and i cut the tubing and rods to fit protruding threw holes that were drilled with a #80 drill bit. thats the dots you see on the top rail. thay have been cut off flush now so you cant see them. pewter drills hot and will warp if you dont take your time or will just break. drill your holes first on flat surface then cut rods longer than needed you can do this buy adding 1 inch to the w/of the trailer. now take the wheelie bars and jb kwik them to the front of the trailer making sure thay stand straight one at a time until one is dry dont do both same time. :dude: note: all parts must be cleaned before assembly some parts still have the pices of the tree attached and may need filing and some may have casting lines pewter cleans up easy. file or sand paper. once both sides are up and dry take top measurements of inside and cut tubing for a good fit minus 1/16 this is so you can put welds on rod and tubing and nothing moves now run rod threw one side adding tubing and run threw the other side let the rods come evenly out. you should have even amounts of rod on both sides. these two top rods are your tire rack now add jb kwik to the inside where rod and tubing meet the rack frame both sides buy twisting the rods that hang out from side to side you can make an even weld all around the tubing the 1/16th gap will allow you to pull and push rod back and forth till you see jb kwik come out drill holes stop and let dry make sure to do both sides at one time on one rod only. now do the same to the other one. now when dry measure your front tubing that goes from top to bottom you can cut a 45 on each end and jb kwik them or drill and add rods this is hard so for you guys just jb them because the angle on the rods verry not all angles will be the same. ... ps you dont have to use rods just use tubing and it will go together quick...one bad thing about using no rods is that the tire rack rods will break more often just buy picking it up. the choise is yours. good luck............pss if you choose not to use the rods make the inside mesurement tight on tubing then jb weld you wont need to minus the 1/16 gunn 10-01-2005, 07:43 PM http://pic16.picturetrail.com/VOL656/2703276/8403136/113600797.jpg gunn 10-01-2005, 07:47 PM http://pic16.picturetrail.com/VOL656/2703276/8403136/113600690.jpg  YellowBronc 10-01-2005, 08:02 PM Awesome!!!!
