Hey Slotheads!
Probly cant call this a custom, but with the limited availbility of narrow X2 stock car bods, this will be a different bod for our x2 class that starts racin' Oct 9. The FF JL Charger lost the blower, gained a dirt type hood scoop, then the hood got some satin black Krylon. I ground out the Xtrack mounts, cut the x2 mounts out of a Lambo filed em a little and just glued em in with a chassis with oversize tires after getting the wheelwells radiused. Then glued in a couple chassis supports and just slapped some vinyl decals on it.
I do use the adapter clips that are out there also, but this method makes that bod snap on just like a standard x2. Chassis before modification and the Lamborghini I hacked(sorry Joez) came from Coach-Thanks Dave. The remaining roof and nose from the Lambo will be used on other projects.
