What's the best wat to strip paint off of plastic wheels? thanks ClearHooter 09-28-2005, 10:07 AM I use Krazy Glue to put things back together or glue metal to metal. Then I use J&B KWIK or WELD to seal the bond between body and chassis especially if I've left the pins in the body that the rivets fit into. If not I just use the KG between the body and chassis joints. Mine don't usually roll, nor do I "play" with them. Never had to strip paint from wheels. But I have stripped paint from plastic car bodies. For that I use model airplane fuel. Cox is my preferred brand...If I can get it. It'll remove the paint but won't kraze the plastic. Superbird77 09-28-2005, 01:53 PM I have never tried this, but brake fluid could do the job of stripping the paint from plastic parts. I found this page on the net, hope you'll find it helpful: http://www.ntgrc.org/strip_paint.htm Good luck :) jedimario 09-28-2005, 02:27 PM thanks for the help guys! vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
