I inherited a simplicity 755e snowblower that had a 7hp Tecumseh hsk70

I have a chance to pick up a new in box tecumseh hssk50 for dirt cheap - is this compatable with the 755e unit? I was told it would work but I would like to hear some other ideas...

it should work, as long as the bolt pattern is right, the crank and all is correct to match up, otherwise, yep.
