Alright guys carpet season is about to start up and we are going to do some things a little different. This year there will be a club and you can pay an amount to be in the club and then not have to pay for entry fee on club race dates. Now the thing about the club races is that it will be based on points and everyone will get points no matter where you finish. You will be able to drop 2 races so if you have to miss or you break etc. The points podiem winners will recieve money. For example if we do a hundred dollar club membership which will be about 10 a race entry fee, then First will take 500 second 200 and third 100. there should be about 10 club races. we would have to have at least 8 people in the class to do it. Any class can be like this. Now we will also try and have money races for the people coming out of town and or dont want to do this. Rules will be enforced for these classes we will tech them everytime. But as always this is totally up to the racers if you want to do it then we will if not tell us. The classes that will run this year so far are:
5.0 Breakout
4 cell Spec
6 cell Sprint car
Novice
6 cell touring stock
Legends
4 cell Stock
4 cell 19t

also if the kids want to run mini t we are cool with that.
If you want to run another class such as the off road then as long as there are 4 to make a class then we will.
Give us some feedback on what you think. If you want to or if you dont want to.

i am already counting my money kent cause you aint getting the 500

i may not but i am going to try really hard. as long as you dont take me for a ride on your hood around the track backwards i might have a chance for third

the thing is every class can be different with its own pot so no class has to be as high or the same at all. but as the membership lowers so does the payoff.

what class are you running kent 19t or stock

kenny you not gonna run stock with us? cmon it will be fun after you break a chasis in 19t you will want to run stock. brandon what are you gonna run?

19t is a bit tight a this track you sure would only want 5 in the heats and main or somebodys car would end up in the hot dog stand

it aint about gettin hit it is about you hitting the point in 3 and 4.

so whats the schedule that way we can make plans some of us live 2 hours away and start time and that might want to talk to locals as well as out of towners cause typical weekend last year home at 1 am to 3 am but make it good for locals as well post for us kent get with freddie brad and chris and others tenn racers let pack the house this winter i want to see 50 to 60 cars a week so lets get out their and sell cars kent doggy dog

so whats the schedule would like to have one for carpet since we had no crete schedule but if it works fine if it don't fine i may just start fishing this winter instead please post schedule some people have jobs and family on top of all that so need to see if schedule is going to work for the majority of the racers before we get the season started just my .02 cents worth and kent i saw where you called at 11-12last night got to sleep i have a job

alright i have talked to the man and he says we will start the first weekend in November. we will alternate after that from road course to oval every other weekend. most every race will be a club race. and as far as money races go besides the club race thing those dates will be posted later. practice will be open every weekend in october if anyone wants to come. any more questions will be addressed asap

What foams have worked up there the best? And did you clean the carpet since last year? Someone said it looked like it had been cleaned....

im coming down the 29th for some practice while im here playing hs football. i have several questions: what would be a good setup for the carpet track i run a 04' maverick slider, also what time will practice start, what is the practice fee

I believe Jimmy Flack's setup he used last year is on the Maverick site. That should get you in the ball park since he was the only one using the Maverick chassis. Check it out and we'll help out with any questions you have. I ran a BSR silver/gray on the right front, white on the left and gray rears. red LF and green RF springs. blue or gold side springs. Silva copper or black center. I may be up there Sat as well practicing...

would like to see more at pratice track needs to be run on or its going to be hell the frist week or so com on guys kent and his dad tony r the most coopertive guys all you really need to to do is call 9 out of 10 times they will say sure com'on down its a very nice place indoors and out doors we need to support them and iam sure they will do every thing they can to support us they have already shown that its our turn well except for kent who answers any ? with i dont know lol hahaha just kidding kent see you guys soon

Easy Gily we are trying to bring on more racers not run them off before we get started......... just hoping some people might take a hint and move up to a class to leave others that want to race a class besides breakout whatever class that is i am game just ask kenny or anybody else i am the only person crazy enough to strap twelve cells in to get a good qualifying lap but it worked and the track was no bigger oh well i may just run twelve cells at rush and son what an adrenaline rush that was aint we are qualifying this year to right

why do yall start stuff on my thread? 6 cell stock will not run against 4 cell 19t. it is not going to happen. 6 cell stock will be run with truck bodies. and 4 cell 19t will run with car bodies. i personally dont know what i will run yet i know 4 cell stock. as far as anything else undecided. now yall play nice. btw brandon hush you are pretty fast but not untouchable and it is your first time with your new car at my track. so dont be dissing the cw boys they might show us all where it is at.

looks like flack is stepping up to plate for some fast lap times this year and kent you know teddy willl be right their he seems to get the hang of carpet better than most of us it may take me a month to get fast but don't worry i will be right their with you the little tracks aren't as easy for me as they once were and as far as the new chassis goes it will be right their proved that first trip up on the crete as far as my driving it seems to be more off than on lately

Had a good day of practice. Looked like most guys were fast. Track should still get a bit faster with some more compound laid down. Can't wait until the first race.
