OK all you guys and gals I need some help here. Since Make-A-Wish in the past has granted both my one son and daughter a wish I try to help them anyway I can. So when a friend of mine that keeps tabs on a few of the kids called me because I collect little cars (his words) and asked me if I had any Porsche 962’s. (I have one, the red & yellow Shell Dunlop) Well I told him I have one but it is a slotcar. So after talking I found out this young lady likes racing but really loves the 962’s and 956 models. So after hanging up it seems I volunteered to build a small layout using a 36 X 80 door for the base. Here is where I need help. I did a search on ebay and did find a number of different 962’s. I do not alot of extra money to spend, but if anyone here has a 962 or 956 (did they ever make one in a slotcar?) that they will sell me at a fair price please let me know.

I've got an extra Tomy Porsche 962 lighted body - new - never mounted, the young lady can have free. Maybe someone else can help out with a chassis.

Omega-it is a good idea to have one power pack per lane. I have a box of various ones if you need one.

Dave, Tomy did 3 lighted Porsche 962s. Jeauxcwails has white and blue Blaupunkt covered so I will send the yellow and red lighted Shell #17. I will also include 2 Tomy turbo chassis so coach61 can send a complete car instead of a chassis.


How about some glow in the dark gaurd rails? Pretty sure I have some somewhere in the garage.

I have to dig out the box to see what Porsche I can find, I have a new Turbo chassis I will go ahead and send for the body I think JW is sending you.. beena bad busy week.. no Good week just very busy Its 962's I have not 956's my bad...Will see what I can find so basiclly fiorst one I pull out a box lol.. Hey Dave.
Sorry got way behind on things. what do you need I have wes's car I promised him like 3 weeks ago sitting here on my desk staring at me.. DOH! then remebered you needed stuff for a make a wish project. You still need a chassis or just a car now I can't sort the messages, still busy but not near as bad.
