Hey everyone! My friend Mike was talkin to me about seriously starting up a race track next spring. it would be an Oval out door track and located somewhere in the northeast PA close to Dunmore. Mike has been in RC on and off for a long time and he seriously wants to start up a track. he asked me to come on here for some feedback. so check on Mapquest to see how far you Live from DUNMORE PA. and come on here and tell us what you think about having a professional RC facility in this area.
ill have more info later on tonight i hope and anyone with questions please ask! the more support on here the better cause i know Mike wants this to be somthing BIG.
thanks!

Hey everyone! Thanks Joe for your help. The feedback for the Dunmore track is critical. It maybe starting outdoors for now, but my full intension are to have a indoor track in the future with a dirt track outside big enough for 1/8 scalle to open up. Starting this outdoor track will let me know if it's worth it in this area. Not only that, it would take about $200,000 to get a building, track, land, and all the neccess. that go along with it. Nobody has that kind of money laying around. I have to start somewhere just like everyone else. Two major factors. #1 is you and #2 is me. I have the dream and you can make it happen and we are both happy.
Dunmore is the perfect place to have a track. I380, 84, and 81 run right thru Dunmore. I have a 300 x 400 foot freshly paved parking lot just waiting to be run on in the spring. Thanks for reading!

If you are looking for a dirt oval in the area we run at L.A. SPEEDWAY in lake ariel, pa. all summer long. It is a banked clay oval and we run trucks, edm. sprint cars and next year late model. we have 25-30 people every Sat. night at 7pm. And the elder statesman is our announcer!

lol hey George! im pretty sure Mike doesnt want to build a Dirt Oval track anytime soon or probly never. he was talkin about a dirt offroad track big enough for 1/8th scale buggies. i really hope this takes foot. its early now ofcourse. i think a really cool onroad track around here would be awesome. done right and it will be a huge hit in the area.
Hey George hows it been havent seen you in a couple weeks. give me a call! seeya
