Does anyone have a RC18T who races Dirt Oval???? What Things do you have to do from the stock Truck to make it "race worthy" so to speak.

THANKS

I have one that I have run at Freddies Hobbies in Ravenna, Ohio. The track is a medium sized clay oval that has a far amount of banking with a level change from the front stretch to the back stretch.

It is a stock 18T, with the stock motor and foam tires. I haven't even grooved them yet and the truck runs really well. I've upgraded to some adjustable turnbuckles but that is about it. I have a late model body, that when it gets painted, will look pretty cool on it. An EDM body is also in the future, along with a hopped motor, or if I dare, a brushless system.

It's a blast to drive on the dirt, plus it's pretty forgiving, being 4 wheel drive.
After I get bodies painted, I'll have some pics of it.

Take care,
Dale

Well that would be my goal for next year to build a DIRT oval in my back yard
( nothing huge just managable ) Right now i'm running on my dirt road, and my drive way, then when i go over to my friends house we run on paymant ( thats not bad either but i miss the sideways action LOL )
