everyone that trys to help me with my car asks if it is loose or tight or free, etc. i dont know what these terms mean. can someone please explain the oval terms to me without using the term in the definition? sure would be a big help!

loose means the race car rear is trying to slide up the track or come around and tight is when the car doesn't turn well or nearly runs out of race track trying to come off corner and free most people use this term when their car is pushing meaning they need to get the car looser to get it to carry speed off the corner

As Benny Parsons says......if the front wants to hit the wall its a push, if the rear wants to hit the wall its loose.

if the car feels you dont thave enough steering to get around the corner its pushing! you turn the car it turns so easy that its hard to not hit the inside walls then its loose.its all opinion but you really have to learn this stuff b4 you can really get your car right. hope this helps. if all else fails ask a fast guy!
