Hey guys, We will be open on Oct. 8th. I will have many more details in the next couple of days. The map is fairly accurate. There is a driveway directly west of the "pinpoint" for entry off of Poplar St. I am planning a meeting before we open and will post the date and time of the meeting on here as well. Thanks guys!

Hey, we've been discussing trying a 10 min. main every once in awhile for bl/lipo trucks. Let me know what you think. If we can get enough interest, I think it would be a good time. We could run two heats and one main for that class on that day. It would be in the "mod truck" class. Let me know.

I would be very interested in it. Joe has a paper I gave him of some prices on lipo's from max amps. If any one would like a price on one or know what they have e-mail me at iclosi88@msn.com . You can also look at the lipo's at www.maxamps.com . I will be charging less than max's site.

Thanks,
David

Ok, our meeting this year will be Oct. 1st. (sat.) about the track. It will be at MUGS restaraunt. (18 South Chestnut Street Jefferson, OH 44047) At 4:30pm. We will basically discuss changes to the track for the coming season. Any input will be appreciated. I know, I know, MORE HEAT. I hope to have that more under control. We have 3 of the large heaters now, and hopefully that will be better. Our first track layout is designed, and should be perfect to knock most of the rust off from the summer. Nice wide lanes, easy jumps, blah, blah, blah. Anything to make you happy JOJO!!! It should make for some good side by side racing.
We will be open sat Oct. 8th for the first day of racing. There is a festival going on at the fairgrounds that weekend. I will have the details for getting in figured out before then. Looks like the doors will open at 9am will racing at 10am for electric ONLY!! The doors will be open at 4pm with racing at 5pm for nitro ONLY!! Obviously nitro guys are welcome to come early to watch and electric can stay late.
I am going to try to get in this coming week to get a game plan for the track build. Any help for that will also be appreciated. I will post when we will be working on that.
Hey Dan. I'm not sure who is running what at this point. We always tend to have a strong stock truck and stock buggy class. More people are talking about 4wd, but I don't know till we get going.

Hello, I was asked about lipo's. ONLY MOD. There is a serious advantage in stock and I will NOT allow it. Nor will I allow brushless in my stock class. Thanks, Ryan

Hey John, we are looking forward to you racing with us!! Are you coming to the meeting?

Not sure yet if I will be at the meeting. I am all for racing mod this year. What do you think about Hot stock (19turn). Stock motors are just seeming to slow but I like the spec motor class because they make things real even. You tune a 19turn just like a stock but no pesky freaking bushings. I been practicing with the BJ4 a lot lately. It is really easy to drive even with V2 10 single. It is going to be nice not to have to drive 90mins for good racing.

Jo jo FRY
09-21-2005, 12:20 AM
John we where gonna do a 19 turn class sounded fun .. I think if we did 19 turn ppl would just try and stick mods in there cars and say i dont have a 19 turn whats the difference ..That is what happened in 4wd.. It also wouldnt work cause you couldnt run a brushless system . I am sure some want to do that.. I like the 19 turn idea but it wont stick unforantly...I kind of like the mod idea. Theres no cheating its 6 cell or 7.4 lipo and what ever motor you want.

JJ MBX-5

I was thinking of replacing stock with 19turn. This would do several things. The first is it would open up track design by allowing bigger and more techinical track layouts. It is still a spec class so should be evenly matched. The added speed would help to improve are driving over just running stock, But your probably right because I know everybody already have stock motors. They probably are not interested in buying new motors. Well i was just thinking out loud. I guess I going to bolt in a big V2 and brake stuff!

I have been using a Cobra now for about a year, and I am really happy with the it way cuts. I am sure with all the different lathes out there now, any of them is a good choice. Hope this helps you out.
