Yes...but I won't be able to make it. :( RPM 09-08-2005, 10:17 PM If Mike offered it would you run it? Yes I would run it, but It's not going to happen. Mike has alot of Brushed motor sponsors for the Snowbirds race. Unless Novak sponsors a brushless class?? I wonder how Trinity would like that??? :freak: Ginsu 09-08-2005, 10:20 PM RPM is right. I spoke with Mike B a while back and the fact remains Trinity is his main sponsor with no brushless system on the horizon. I doubt it but would DEFINATELY ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY run the class. Can't wait until next years FOCAR's brushless class. It was a blast in Daytona! Echeconnee 09-08-2005, 10:20 PM it will be interesting to see what happens............ burbs 09-08-2005, 11:09 PM RPM is right. It was a blast in Daytona! so does that mean no one can run associated motors, top motors ??? everyone has to run trinity motors, according to that logic.. It is just another class.. who cares what the motor is.. Lots of people run novak products in there trinity sponsored rides... tw78911sc 09-08-2005, 11:15 PM I called him earlier in the year when I was considering getting a BL system. He said no. With Trinity sponser $$ makes sense. Tom pmsimkins 09-09-2005, 12:18 AM I'm hoping to be there this year either way, but if it was offered I'd definately run it. CBear3 09-09-2005, 10:06 AM If offered, I'd probably try it. I'm not a huge brushless fan but to run as a second class (or a third) I'd give it a go. No need to rebuild the motor at 3am :) Echeconnee 09-09-2005, 10:25 AM Yea, I am going this year as well to run Mod but if brushless was offered it would be my first choice! B-man777 09-09-2005, 11:34 AM hi all:i think if the snowbirds offered a brushless class it would get a good turn out,but i'm here to say brushless motors should NOT be in the same class as brushed motors.two different technolegies so they should be run seperetly.just my $.02 cents worth thank you  JeffPatch29 09-09-2005, 12:09 PM I don't think snowbirds has to worry about turnouts....... lol. Echeconnee 09-09-2005, 02:20 PM Your'e right, but I think the brushless would be a big class.I don't think snowbirds has to worry about turnouts....... lol. RPM 09-09-2005, 04:25 PM so does that mean no one can run associated motors, top motors ??? everyone has to run trinity motors, according to that logic.. It is just another class.. who cares what the motor is.. Lots of people run novak products in there trinity sponsored rides... Yes... you would think so but were talking about TRINITY LOGIC and it sounds stupid I know. :freak: Its not that Mike doesn't want to run a brushless class. He's all for the racers!!! He must conform to his biggest sponsors wishes!! amainiac 09-09-2005, 10:55 PM Sounds like Trinity needs to get busy working on a brushless system!!! Why hold back the future. darkwing 09-09-2005, 11:17 PM Not to open a can of worms but spec racing dosent belong at the birds . In my opinon Brushless is spec . It just takes racers away from the racing classes stock,19 turn, modified . burbs 09-09-2005, 11:33 PM im not a fan of brushless yet, but if the people are going there to run brushless, chances are they are alreay running the class.. so it isnt taking anyone away from the other classes.. Ive done some thinking and talk with people to and im starting to agree with the clas a bit more.. mostly , because most of the guys are going to be running it locally.. If most guys run it, id do it.. Echeconnee 09-10-2005, 12:20 AM SPEC?? why do you think that? For that matter isn't 19t a spec modified class? Not to open a can of worms but spec racing dosent belong at the birds . In my opinon Brushless is spec . I agree 100%. Amen hankster 09-10-2005, 11:50 PM Well, if you want to get technical, all classes run in RC are "spec" classes.... there are no unlimited classes ;) Echeconnee 09-11-2005, 01:18 AM True!Well, if you want to get technical, all classes run in RC are "spec" classes.... there are no unlimited classes ;) ekid138 09-11-2005, 02:07 AM I'd run it! vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
