Hello everyone
I am new to the hobby, i have been interested for many years and finally i decided to spend some money and get in on the fun. I recently bought a used HPI nitro MT off of ebay. The truck did not come exactly as described (lead to some neutral feedback  ) but with some love and care, it will be up and running in no time!
now to my question for now (I am sure that i will have more as i go along). I hate to ask such a dumb question but here it goes. I can not figure out how to remove the 4 AA batteries that are carried on the truck so they can be replaced or recharged. I mean, i got them out but i had to disassemble half of the truck to get them out of the protective box that they are held in. I hope there is someone here that has one of these trucks that can tell me an easier way to get these batteries out. It is great that they are protected from the elements, but you think they would put a door on the box, so you could just lift out the batteries!?! So does someone know an easier way, instead of removing all of the radio tray including the servos and fuel tank?
