Barry.. why not just sell tickets for like 25 bucks each.. I think alot more people will buy tickets, then an all out 3-400 dolar kit.. i mean if 20 people buy tickets, thats 500 bucks . then just draw names after the close.. i think it would be a better way to raise more money...

Its just a thought.. Alot more people have 25 bucks to buy a ticket, then 300+ to try to bid.. I think in the end it willl give everyone a chance..

great idea to raise money though.. they all need help//

John,
We are trying to work out the details, but it will be scale boards, bodies, batteries, motors & other items. We are trying to work out a raffle, but it is highly illegal in Tennessee, but I am willing to run it out of Wisc, where I do not think it will be a problem. We will keep everyone posted on the details.
We are also adding a link to the Red Cross on the lefthander-rc.com website.
Thanks

I think Burbs idea is a more feasible one for more people to participate. I would definitly buy one or two tickets if it was setup raffle style.

Bulit Motorsports has added a Bulit 19 turn or Monster stock with the car.

I have added an EAM IB3800 battery pack as well.

I agree with Burbs and Hays, I would rather see it be a raffle then an auction, I would be willing to buy a ticket or two.

After talking to Barry, we are going to run it as a raffle. We @ Lefthander will be putting up many items including scale boards, bodies, batteries, B/L system + more. We will list everything on Fri. Jeff Fritsche is working on the web-site & it will be set to go on Fri. You can get the "tickets" on Fri. You will be able to do it on the site. We will keep a running total of amounts raised, & will post copies of the checks as they are sent to the Red Cross. If anyone has any ideas of a different organization to send the money to, please let us know.
Any one willing to contribute more products , please contact us @ 262/691-4347 or e-mail to order@lefthander-rc.com. We will be pulling #'s randomly every few days & send the items then N/C for the shipping. After a few weeks we will be pulling the # for the PRO 3.

Lets all help the people in the Gulf Coast area!!

We have the Hurricane Katrina Fund raffle up & running on the lefthander-rc.com website.
We have been given items from Hyperdrive (PRO 3), Hefty Cells, BSR, Eamotorsports,
SMC, BULIT, & JB. We at Lefthander will also donate at least 1 scale board system, Novak 4300 B/L system, T-shirts,& bodies. If you help out & buy lots of tickets, we will donate more as I am sure some of the other donors will.
If anyone else would like to help, that would be appreciated. There is also a direct link on the website to the Red Cross.
If anyone has any creative ideas on how to sell more tickets, feel free to offer your opinions. THANKS to all!

Will you take PAYPAL for ticket payments ? you can add the 3% service fee included in the ticket price if paying by payapl. for example if the raffle ticket is $25.00, if paying by paypal $25.75 i'm willing to do it. that way it will be on your bank account right away, no more waiting for check or whatever. just my 2 cents
