I was wonderign if the Novak XRS sport reversible speed control would be good in a XXX-t. It looks alot like the stock speed cont, and I know it is cheaper but does the speed control really make a speed difference?

it depends what type of motor you run, and how you want to run.. for just bashing around, run whatever you have.. if you want to race, you may need a slighlty better esc..

Doesn't really make a speed difference unless you run a really fast motor, the really fast motors will burn up cheap speed controls.

i have a bunch of motors but I am running a reedy spec right now, the chrome motor with all the vents.
