The little old lady who only drove it back and forth to church on Sundays never touched a thing on the car. All of the Nitros fittings are box stock...

Speaking of somewhat deceptive advertising, look at this baby:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Tyco-Tycopro-HO-Slot-Car-SUPERBIRD_W0QQitemZ5996537200QQcategoryZ2618QQrdZ1 QQcmdZViewItem

Note the description "As far as i know he never used them on a track, he just liked collecting them"

This guy must have been a full contact cage match no holds barred collector. One of his other "never used" slot cars has melted silicone white boots. All of the cars look beat. Talk about a rough collector ... imagine what the cars that were run look like.

Another falsehood: "This car needs a pain job for sure." From the looks of things this car has already been punished enough. It can't take any more pain.

I'm still laffin Afx Too! I never knew that slot collecting was an X games sport! I also didnt know that JLs were "vintage" yet, Mking. I got a lot of "vintage" cars then. LOL At least that "vintage" car wasnt ruined by rediculous modifications!

Was that a bugger on the front of that Daytona? Yuk! Gotta love honest people. Well I guess everybody needs to learn the "I got ripped on that deal" lesson once or twice. I've been on both ends of that deal. Can't say I feel good about it either way, but I guess that's how it goes. :(
