On a Craftsman rider, no fuel from tank to carb. cleared lines and filter.
BUT can "prime" carb barrel with alot of fuel 6-8 ozs. maybe and engine will start and continue running forever until shutdown and time lapse of roughly 1/2 hour. Then it will not start again. Any suggestions? I am a retired guy with little or no small engine experience. please email me direct as I seem to be having trouble getting on the forum alot. Thanks Dan Ayres

ok, was it stored properly? other then that, make sure the tank itself isn't clogged. you can tell by holding the end of the line at the carb while off, into a good container, and let it go to see if its flowing freely. other then that make sure the cap vents.

Roger that. Everything from tank thru filter is fine. Actually I prob wasnt clear that once it starts it will run all day until a shutoff and a period of time. Not that it just uses the prime fuel and quits. I mowed today and refilled the tank once with a short off time (minutes) it restarted Ok. Ran Over 4 hours, shut down... waited for a couple of hours and it went back to no start.

is it a apposed twin? i'd clean the carb well, go through the holes with a fine wire on some and cleaner.
