i need some help getting admin privliges.
i have no cmd prompt but i need the priviliges because i cant install windows blinds without them.

now, do you not have windows admin priv' because you are using someone elses machine? what OS are you running? is this at work? at home?

if your account doesnt have admin rights, log off, and log on as the admin. (if you know the password for an admin account)

if your account doesnt have admin rights, and you do know the admin password, why not use the "runas" command to install.

if someone locked down the machine on you, then.. you might want to ask them first.

If this is NT, 2000, or XP... and you DONT have the admin password... you can hack the password hash ... download chntpw and create a bootable floppy with it... boot to the linux kernel and follow the commands to change the admin password... restart the pc and make sure you're not logging into a domain, make sure it says you're logging into "This Computer" and use your administrator login you just created...
