Manoil was owned by two brothers, Jack and Maurice Manoil. The company was in operation from 1934 - 1955. This firetruck was produced postwar and is 4" long. A lot of Manoil's vehicles were swooped in appearance.

afar for being as valuable as this cars are, i cant help loving the "40's-mob-gang" look they all have ... :thumbsup: grat pieces

this is a nice manoil #709 firetruck its a nice example of the diecast of that era.

This is a Manoil #704 which I found in a brick foundation of a house that was being demolished.

Oh yes, Paul, thanks for the "re-release" of your photo!

You should contact "Thomas Toys" (Julian Thomas) in Ohio, maybe he can fix ya' up with a replacement wheel.
