hi there:rc dirt oval racing was very popular back in the mid '80,s to early '90's then died out a bit,but now is in somewhat of a comeback over the last five years or so in my opinion.what i want to know is are there any sanctioning bodies that offer dirt oval racing?also is there any way i can get a list of companies that offer dirt oval full kits or conversion kits?im interested in electric kits mostly.thanks for the help

A great place to find info on dirt oval racing is www.dirtoval.com (http://www.dirtoval.com) . They have a very active forum section. Some of the site is under construction.
The WDRA (World Dirt Racing Association) sanctions a travelling series in the northeast. The website is www.rochesterrc.com/wdra (http://www.rochesterrc.com/wdra) . There is also the dirtoval.com Nitro tour....which is more national, but as the name implies, is for nitro cars.

TMR makes a electric sprint car kit. Custom Worrks www.customworksrc.com makes a electric sprint car, latemodel, and a EDM. Try www.Texasdirtoval.com for information on dirt oval racing.
