Hey everyone the track is finally done. All ready for practice. the whole track is new. new carpet, smoothed out, no more inside wall, ice instead. i was there tonight practicing and it is fun!. much better then it use to be. super smooth. first schedualed race is sept 17th. open battery rule up to 3800. hope to see a good crowd!

umm try pinks and purples brandon. should hook you up good i think. maybe just try the tires you have now im sure they would work. :)

Brandon, i think white rears and black fronts to start with, as NEW carpet has little traction, untill some compound get's laied down...

Any new information on the carpet. Are the discs gone?

Doug as far as mod goes i think its possible. a few years back Marshalls had a really great mod group there. especially at the bigger races. so we will have to see. im sure if some of the really fast guys start it out then others will try also.

john the discs arent gone yet. but the ice is down and the discs are way back from where the line would be. they will be gone once bill finishes everything. i really dont understand why the discs are there still but i know withen a week they wont be there. thankfully. the ice is awesome though. it only slightly upsets the car rather then sending you to the outside eveyr time lol. your gonna love it!

My .02 it rocks straights are longer and not as sweeping tires i dont know anything abought tires i just ran ones from last year? :wave: :cool:

dave are you going to be at marshalls alot this year or are you going to be at the strand alot?

Joe, what have you been using for traction compound on the new carpet? I know you guys can't use the old paragon, I'll need to know for when I come up.

OvalRC so far i used both tq mod and jack the gripper. and jack the gripper so far felt better. but relaly i think any of the compounds should work well. yes no smelly paragon! :)

BROCK- dont worry i plan on it man! sept 17th? you gonna be there? i dunno if i can be there till the beginin of oct. unless it rains ofcourse cuase i announce for a local dirt oval track till then. but after that ill be there alot! especially OCT 7, 8, 9th :) thats gonna be sweet

im going to try to come up before the orl race maybe the 17th or the 24th... after that bow season opens and ill be straped to a tree intill mid nov. i will be up for the orl and once the season is over if the turnout is good ill be up more often.

my vote is for stock intill the orl race do to the fact that the 19t class for the orl is small and sometimes they dont even run it..


joe once hunting is over let me know if you would be up for a weekend trip up to k&n ill drive if you want to split a room and gas and BEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are the planned weekly classes?

Got a chance to run the new pro3 sat night on the carpet before we ran on the asphalt outside. Track is smooth and with the groove working in the traction is picking up in the carpet.

John you k now how marshalls is with classes so you can imagine just about anything. which i think kinda sucks. but as far as pan car classes i think weekly there will be a good Busch, 19t, and stock class. and i think it should be a good turn out the whole season. im hopeing full A and B mains in those classes. we will see though. plus if we could get guys that wanan run mod im sure that would be a good class also. hope this helps.

hey CONKLIN BOY! your a super hero now adays :) and i agree with mark you should be marshalling some place even on a thursday lol. i plan on runnin mostly 19t this year. but ill run stock also if hte class is big. :) i think it will be. Brandon the only bad part about having a B main is you will be in it? lol just kidding im sure this year will be your year to shine! :) im goin out to practice today with dale. ill try to remember to take a camra for once i wanna show everyone hte track. talk to you guys later

Hey Walter, just talked with Jorge, he's thrashing on his batteries for this weekend, sounds like a good time, we don't get much asphalt racing in my neck of the woods. My racing is limited till the end of Sept, we run every saturday till then at my uncle's track in New Hampshire. After that I will be making some appearances. I'll keep you posted when I know when. As usual I will try to get some others to make the trip with me.
