Hi

I would like to get a dozen or so pairs of the JL XT wide shoes. Anyone know where to get them? Havent seen them on ebay.

Thanks
Mike

They may be harder to find, since the Mopar and BTTF production numbers seem to be far less than the F&F releases. I'd recommend trying Slotcar Johnny, or Jag Hobbies (http://www.jaghobbies.com/). A shame RC2/JL didn't crank out a few thousand pitkits with the wider shoes.

I agree. In copper!

I agree with buzzinhornet, copper would be much, much better. They need to beef them up a tad too. The wider XT shoes are just as flimsy as the narrow shoes and are no match for the Aurora power steering shoes.

mking, you should give the folks at ScaleAuto in Redmond a call and see if they can get you something better than the stock JL XT shoes. Heck, you're only an hour from the ScaleAuto retail store. I'd be there once a week if I lived that close. You're at the epicenter of the G3 Universe.

funny you should mention Scale Auto. I work in Bellevue, about 10 miles or so from Scale Auto. For years they operated out of their home in Redmond, then had a storefront nearby. I did drive by it on a number of occasions, but my timing sucks and they were always closed. Then I decided to really make an effort to visit their retail location, only to find out it had closed. They still do mail order, and may host some events, but i dont think they operate a walk in retail store anymore.

I don't envy your commute. I thought ScaleAuto opened a retail store again, complete with tracks to race on. You should email them because they do answer emails.
