I am looking at getting a new oval car and have a few questions. I have always liked associated. How is the FT L4O? What is the difference between the hyperdrive HK-7000T Team car and teh Pro 3? On the pro 3, what is the difference between slider and solid? Are the pro 3 only made for 4-cell and can you strap in a 6-cell pack? Whats the best bank for the buck? Thanks.

I would put the PRO3 on the top of the list you have there. And I would recommend the FULL chassis kit.

most guys who run the L4O go out and buy the Silva conversion for it. Which will add almost $200 more dollars to the L4O price. The differnece between the HK-7000t and the Pro 3 are to many to name it's easier to list the things that are the same. front end (asc) axle and shocks thtas about it. Sorry but for right now car is only designed for 4 cells. There will be a small run of 6 cell cars for the last few 6 cell racers (snowbirds, sandhills etc). It's up to Barry if there just be team chassis or for sale.

The slider has the sliding battery tray as the 700 does and the solid chassis is a one piece chassis like the pro 2 is. With the solid car the battery position is fixed where the slider has a moving (forward and back) battery tray.

Hey Smoothie..........what type of track(s) will you be racing on the most? That will determine which chassis is preferred!

Me ang Humpty ran the pro3 with 6-cell stick Packs,I ran mine from the Side shock mount forward and Jeff had his side shock mount notched and ran the battery all the way back on the LR. I just moved the receiver pack and the personal trans. to the middle of the car.
