just had to brag about this one.. not particularly for the car, altho it's one of my favs...but for the deal...
found at Meijers...these are now in the clearance shelves... not bad, down to $18.74 from 24.99... but picked this up last weekend, the tail-end of a promotion where they had a coupon for 50% off any clearance toys.. so I ended up gettin it for $9.37!

VERY sweet deal Pablodragon!

My son has that one displayed in his room and it's a beauty.
I always seem to be a day late on finds like that!:)

bumpin this back up, I know there was another thread on the subject, but I can't find it now... someone posted a link to a pic or auction, it was for this car, and it was said that this was either a on-line only, hobby only or some kind of chase car? this is the one with the "427 Custom" graphics in the stripe... just found this today at a Target... so which is it? (I had seen alot of them at the regular stores, but never any with the 427 graphics...

That is a regular issue vehicle. Only ones that are Hoibby only will actually say Collectors Club. This one is a regular issue, and being as it was found at Miejers that should tell you as well it was a common. ;-) Hope that helps.

This Camaro would be from the first production run...............

After that the 427 was removed.............

Not sure that make's it anymore valuable..................

Just different...................

ok..thanx Reekman! that's what I wanted to know. I kinda like the 427 logos. ... it's just like I said above, (by the way, said I found this one at Target, not Meijers..) had seen many of these sitting on the shelves at many different regular stores, but this was the only one I found with the 427 logos.
also, I think that thread that we can't find was a link to an evil-bay auction where the guy was hyping up the car as being really rare, so it's also just a heads up for those that see that on evil-bay and may have questions...

Jada does not do Chase Cars....

Hi all!
Dug this old post up...cuz I had also been going thru older cars and found the yellow Camaro...

Just thought I would bump this up for some of the newer Jada collectors... never did find out why (if you read this thread) they discontinued using the "427 Custom" tampos after the first run...
I know "Jada doesn't do chase cars"...well back then anyway! (check the date/year on this post!)... but it is a neat variation that I still never saw but a few of...no matter how many here said it was just another regular issue.
Matter of fact, perusing good ole' evil-bay, nowadays, have not been able to find any of this 1/18th Camaro, with or without the 427 logos....(427 is on the hood, the front fender, and all 4 of the seats...)

We don` t really do chase cars.
Black/Red and Yellow/Black 1/18 1968 Camaro models had 427 Custom logos on front fenders for the initial run.
We removed these logos after a short while.
Cars with 427 logos are fewer than the ones with No logos.
