I have Norton Antivirus 2005 and Spysweeper 4.0 on my computer, sinceI got the Norton, the ALERTS icon on the Spysweeper is gray (disabled), I dont get anymore alerts.

Also, evertime I run the spysweeper, it finds NOTHING!

Could the Norton be "blinding" my Spysweeper or something?
How can I make them get along? :confused:

i have friends that can't run spysweeper with NAV2k5. personally i think NAV2k5 is a memory hog and wastes resources... but ....

norton has the auto-protect that runs and makes sure the "memory is not comprimised" in some way, and spysweeper has a memory sheild option which i think conflicts the programs... boo hiss.

to combat the problem, use Spybot S&D (Search and Destroy) instead. Should work just fine.

I have Spybot on my computer too, it works fine.

You mean theres no way to make spysweeper work with the Norton, because I paid $30 for the Spysweeper and will damned if Im just going to uninstall it! :(
