Hamilton the younger had the flyer all ready to go early this week. I think Hamilton the senior and the MARS guys are trying to get the date for awards night nailed down before they post it. The flyer should be coming soon.

Nick was suppose to email me the results of the Vicksburg race and the flyer but I haven't gotten them yet.

Until the flyer is ready there is a really good map on the web page. They have other handy info to like motels and places to eat posted also.

Thanks but I have it Power Point format from Keith. He was waiting to see if the date for the awards dinner is was going to be set. I can make a PDF from what I have but wanted to avoid having 2 versions running arround. Mine with no awards dinner date and the Keith's with the awards dinner date already set.

Didn't they announce the awards date as Oct. 29th?

the main thing i saw yesterday is me double the number of shock towers i've ever broke...coincidently the only other ones i broke were on the dark side, it was the xxt though

If your timing and speed weren't perfect those jumps would kill any buggy or truck.

If ya keep it on the wheels you don't break shock towers :)

well see i thought about it and the way the stupid thing was jumping and the oil was too thin...duh still had 25 all the way around from last week, and here i couldn't figure out why i kept bottoming out on the lip of the jump

The track website statelinerc.com (http://www.statelinerc.com) will get you started. It has a good map, track info etc. I know its not the flyer but it will get you started. I am sending an email to Keith at work.

Mr. Stateline told me today that "the Track will be open for Practice all day on Friday before the race".

OK, does anyone really have a handle on what tires work best on this track?

step pins, a couple guys from Ft.Wayne went and practiced there.
They said it is kinda like Litchfield but a little more sand.

How will that work since many of the MARS racers can't get there as early as some of us and pratice? I'm sure the Oval racers want to pratice as well. The race flyer says pratice for MARS is till dark, so will that reserve the track time for MARS pratice till then and the oval drivers have to wait till then before they get the track?
