View Full Version : MARS 2005 - Fremont woodytx 08-19-2005, 05:26 PM When are we going to get sticky going on the last race of the season? hankster 08-19-2005, 09:15 PM Now! :) Flyer available at http://www.marsracing.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewdownload&cid=1 woodytx 08-19-2005, 09:40 PM Hamilton the younger had the flyer all ready to go early this week. I think Hamilton the senior and the MARS guys are trying to get the date for awards night nailed down before they post it. The flyer should be coming soon. hankster 08-19-2005, 10:23 PM Nick was suppose to email me the results of the Vicksburg race and the flyer but I haven't gotten them yet. woodytx 08-19-2005, 10:45 PM Until the flyer is ready there is a really good map on the web page. They have other handy info to like motels and places to eat posted also. http://www.statelinerc.com Scott b#111 08-19-2005, 10:57 PM Wow the track looks cool, can't wait to run on it there is room to get out of the way and still race  1armed1 08-19-2005, 11:07 PM I have race #5 flyers, I will be at summit this saturday and next. Woody, come see me and I'll give you some. woodytx 08-20-2005, 07:34 AM Thanks, :) The PDF would really be great for both hobbytalk.com and statelinerc.com. Can you tell me if it the date for awards night is printed on your flyer? If not I will just turn the file I have into PDF and we are good to go. 1armed1 08-20-2005, 07:48 AM Woody, the flyers I have are printed. If you or any of your guys will be in FT Wayne today, I'll be at summit racing if weather permits. I'd scan it for you, but I through my scanner away it was junk. woodytx 08-20-2005, 07:42 PM Thanks but I have it Power Point format from Keith. He was waiting to see if the date for the awards dinner is was going to be set. I can make a PDF from what I have but wanted to avoid having 2 versions running arround. Mine with no awards dinner date and the Keith's with the awards dinner date already set. hankster 08-20-2005, 10:24 PM Didn't they announce the awards date as Oct. 29th? Stateline R/C 08-21-2005, 12:32 AM  Racing every saturday if anyone wants to come try the layout and get the setup early!! woodytx 08-21-2005, 07:33 AM Hank, Duno since I could not make the race but as far as I know that is the last bit of information Keith was waiting on. molnars boy 08-21-2005, 09:21 PM alright Unky Hank I'll admit it in front of everyone thats on here....you kicked my butt fair and square at Vicksburg! Finesse and accute attention to what you are doing is required on that layout. airconde 08-22-2005, 12:20 PM Hey Molnars boy. YANK that trigger put in some power get a losi you won't BReak those over sea's parts. They must put fish oil in with the plastic when they mold their parts . MotorCityHamilton had the flyer shoot him a PM/Email. :) woodytx 08-25-2005, 03:53 PM Does anyone know when the last race information will be posted on the MARS web site? Thanks... The track website statelinerc.com (http://www.statelinerc.com) will get you started. It has a good map, track info etc. I know its not the flyer but it will get you started. I am sending an email to Keith at work. woodytx 08-25-2005, 05:50 PM Hank, Got the email from Keith. I combined the two orgianal files to make one PDF and posted at www.statelinerc.com. hankster 08-25-2005, 06:24 PM It is available on the MARS web site at http://www.marsracing.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewdownload&cid=1 woodytx 08-27-2005, 05:54 PM Mr. Stateline told me today that "the Track will be open for Practice all day on Friday before the race". hankster 08-28-2005, 11:30 AM OK, does anyone really have a handle on what tires work best on this track? 1armed1 08-28-2005, 01:21 PM step pins, a couple guys from Ft.Wayne went and practiced there. They said it is kinda like Litchfield but a little more sand. hankster 08-28-2005, 03:15 PM Cool.... I don't have to buy new tires then ;) KevinDog 08-29-2005, 08:46 AM No, but you'll need to replace that shock tower  hankster 08-29-2005, 03:15 PM Har... har.. har... I bet you think that's funny! NTwigs 08-29-2005, 06:40 PM Hey Hank, I'll e-mail the results to you tommorrow. Stateline R/C 08-30-2005, 12:31 AM we will also be having our fri night oval racing under the lights if anyone wants to mix it up a little before sat. :p 1armed1 08-30-2005, 04:24 AM Stateline, Won't that cause radio interference for the guys practicing friday evening? Just a thought. FishRC 08-30-2005, 11:29 AM ouch, yea it will how will radio control be conducted to allow pratice? Stateline R/C 08-30-2005, 01:00 PM wont start until later under the lights FishRC 08-30-2005, 04:14 PM How will that work since many of the MARS racers can't get there as early as some of us and pratice? I'm sure the Oval racers want to pratice as well. The race flyer says pratice for MARS is till dark, so will that reserve the track time for MARS pratice till then and the oval drivers have to wait till then before they get the track? vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
