Hyperform Racing is proud to release there long awaited Hyperform 12 conversion kit! This is our first chassis ever released to the public and should prove to be the best performing 12th scale on the market.
The conversion kit includes chassis, cross brace, top pod plate, bottom pod plate, aluminum damper tubes and necessary hardware. All components are precision cut from the highest quality and stiffest 2.5mm quasi-isotropic carbon fiber available.
The most innovative part of our design lies where the t-bar mounts. This area is routed 1mm deep to allow the t-bar to sit lower which drops the roll center and the center of gravity. This is something that has never been done before! It enables our car to stay extremely flat through the turn and carry an enormous amount of corner speed.
The chassis is designed to be as narrow as possible with the batteries mounted as close to the centerline as possible. This reduces chassis rub and allows the car to transfer its weight extremely well. The front overhang is also shorter then other cars which further reduces chassis rub.
The battery slots are elongated allowing for a wide range of cell mounting positions. If you look closely at the front of the chassis, you will notice a small drill hole that lies directly on the center line. This makes tweaking the car a snap! There is also a similar drill hole on the rear pod bottom plate allowing for precise measurement of rear track width.
The chassis has predrilled servo mount holes for easy positioning. All holes are countersunk perfectly and require no additional preparation to obtain a flat underside. The rear pod top plate mounting holes are countersunk allowing you to lower the body without interference. Like all the components, the cross brace is cut from 2.5mm carbon fiber further stiffening the chasses. In addition, precision manufactured damper tubes provide ultra smooth action.
