Thanks to all the racers that were able to attend this weekend, good, close qualifying. What a fine group of racers from Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa, again thanks to all.
Mother nature finally put a damper on the weekend that was suppose to be perfect, wouldn't you like the weatherman's job.
Congratulations to all the racers, in practice Sunday morning, it appeared that everyone was going to be able to make a run at the A, but no qualifying or main laps so the best qualifying determined the final results:
4300 Brushless: 1st Phil Beardshear 60 laps at 5:03 a new track record
2nd Pat Simkins 59 laps at 5:01
3rd A.J. Strawn 58 laps at 5.01
4th Mike Kelm 58 laps at 5.01
5th Charlie Moon
6th Hays Reeling SR
7th Curt Hartman
8th Steve Lawson

19 turn: 1st Danny Bartholomew 49 laps at 4:01
2nd Corey Heft 49 laps at 4:03
3rd Rob Murdock
4th Hays Reeling JR

Had a great time racing with you guys again. Congrats to Phil B, you were a rocket. AJ, nice trophy you got there, maybe next for me. I was still happy, ran 3 laps faster than last time in July. Next time I just need 2 more laps to catch with Phil. Nice racing with Pat Simkins and Bob Wright for the first time.

Thank you to Tom B for putting up the trophies, Danny B for a great job running the show, and the great group of guys to race with.
Special thanks to Mr. Hays Reeling for the help.

Now I see why it's called STORM Steel.:)

Hey guys,

I had a great time. It was a fun track with a good bunch of guys. The weatherman sure did blow it though!

Congratulations to Phil and Danny. My car was there this weekend but I think I left the driver somewhere back in WI! Always next year. Hope I see you guys at the oval challenge in West Bend in a couple weeks. If not I'm sure I'll see you in Dubuque this winter. Thanks again.

Thanks for all the compliments and supports guys. We always try to put on the best show possible. It sucked with the rain on Sunday. But it was out of our hands.

While we wish we had the car counts of the good ol' days, with support of the racers that do run with us on a regular basis we will keep it going. Just wish that our outdoor bunch was as big as the indoor bunch! Because both are great it's just more fun with 50-60 cars.
