When I used to run them on my Robi dyno at 7.5v An average GM3 pulled about 29,500-31,500 Max RPM. An average Monster about 31,500-32,500, An average Epic Roar Stock - 33,000 + dave w 1 08-11-2005, 03:28 PM thats why i probably never see them around then! erock1331 08-11-2005, 03:49 PM thats why i probably never see them around then! Exactly. it seemed to me you had to buy more of them too, to find a decent one. I think out of all the Monsters I have had probably around 20 or so, maybe only about 3 of them were really duds. Most put up solid numbers and ran well on the track. But I have moved on, I am an RPM whore so I love me some Epic ROAR stocks, lol jsrocket13 08-11-2005, 04:23 PM im with eric my gm2 sucked lucky i got a good monster a ton better the only reason mine is good though is i ordered mine straight from trinity havent tried the epic yet but for a short track motor the gm2 does a good job but it has to be small KenBajdek 08-11-2005, 05:02 PM The green machine 3 will actually run better than a Monster or Epic Stock towards the end of a run. We found that the Monster based and the Roar Epic produce more power and RPM but fall off like a rock compared to a GM3. Most of our fast guys run these over the Monster. Gearing is about 2 teeth bigger for a GM3. erock1331 08-11-2005, 07:41 PM Hmm, I'll let results speak for themselves. All races are BRING YOUR OWN MOTOR ARCOR 2005 Carpet Nats - Eric Hutkay TQ - Epic ROAR Stock - Zach Messenger won running Epics and Monsters 2004 Carpet Nats - Eric Hutkay - TQ and Won -Monster 2003 Carpet Nats - Mike Obrien - TQ and Won -Monster 2005 Paved Nats - Not ran yet 2004 Paved Nats - Jody Miller TQ - Monster -- Eric Thomas won - GM3 NORRCA 2005 carpet - not ran yet 2004 carpet - Eric Hutkay - TQ & won - Monster 2003 carpet - Eric Hutkay - TQ - Monster -- Matt Tyson won - Monster Z-Main Loser 08-12-2005, 06:19 PM That is funny Ken. I remember many races when my monster was passing and running faster lap times at the end of the race against all the G3s. Even yours. How G3s went up in smoke compared to a monster? Mr.fastman 08-13-2005, 09:20 PM Hey guys i never ran one but how do the green machine 3 do against say a monster in 4 cell stock? Dave GM3's do not run as well as a monster in 4C stk. KenBajdek 08-13-2005, 10:56 PM Z-main,I ran the GM3 at Fort Wayne and kicked all of your butts with monsters. As far as Elkhart when yoiu passed me with the Monster I was having ESC issues and radio problems. I would agree that monsters would be better for 4 cell than GM3 because of the rpm difference. But on a shorter bull ring I bet the GM3 would be better for 6 or 4 cell. Most 4 cell stock tracks are bigger and not as tight. Z-Main Loser 08-14-2005, 01:43 AM Actually I had an Epic stock for that race but we'll settle this one come this fall. erock1331 08-14-2005, 10:49 AM xxxxx dave w 1 08-14-2005, 06:41 PM Dave GM3's do not run as well as a monster in 4C stk. .
