Hi Guys I bring more good news from Tomy and Bauer compliments of Model Car racing mag.

Tomy/AF/X and Racemasters has shipped the PT Cruiser in HO and a Chaparral coupe is planned for later in 2005.

Bauer is now shipping a new series of HO cars that include this Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing, Porsche 911 “Rallye Monte Carlo, Alfa Romeo 1300 Junior GTA (with an etched-metal grill, BMW 2002 and BMW 1600ti Alpina. The BMW models have etched-metal wheel inserts. Bauer is available in the U. S. through N.J. Hi Dave, I missed the write up on the Chaparral. What coupe did they make besides the 2D?? Hopefully when they get it made it will also fit the XTs

I have been racking my brain on this one and i really do not think AFX ever made any chaperals at all. Aurora of course did them in tjets, but I do not recall any Magtracs or gplus ones.. So hopefully these will be a whole new body again for us. My Brother drove a converted Tyco 2g in competion for 3 years in our old club ( Converted to Gplus). I got one off fleabay the other day ordered a new wing from Phil at RRR and have looke dat it a couple of times ( My way of saying ya its on the bench I will get to it.. lol) I am going to do another conversion for him to run at our family GP at X-mas when he is down. But no matter how great a job I do on it I will still kick his....

I've heard the Tomy Chaparral rumors for a couple of years but have yet to see anything. Is it going to be a 2D? If they do anything like they did with the Daytonas then we are in for a real treat.
