i wan't to get my tc3 going fast. the only way i can make it beat all of my friends is to get brushless. but i don't have very much money. i could probably spend $150-200. oh yeah i wan't my tc3 to go about 50mph or faster. the set up doesn't have to be brushless i just wan't some advice on what i should get.

50 is going to be pretty tough for only $200 and with only 6 cells......

You might do it with a 6-7 turn motor but you would need to put new brushes in the motor and cut the com just about every run.

The more important question would probably be.... Where do you plan to achieve this speed?

Do you only run in a straight line?

You could go up to 7 cells, and a Mod motor....and GEAR it UP. but if you are running on a road course type layout, if may not achieve top speed if it's too tall geared...

Challenge your friends to a closed course, and instead of TOP SPEED...work on who can run MORE laps with out crashing...
