Wow, busy episode! Spoilers ahead!!!!
I thnk it was very smart to let us know there are 8 cylons in the fleet (or was that ONLY on Galactica?), because now more than ever we will be looking at everyone and wondering. Of course, Boomer could be lying.
Tigh comes off badly again and seems quite pathetic. As an alcoholic though, he's probably portrayed fairly accurately. He would never have risen to his rank if not for peace-time and Adama's favoritism.
So, the cops lead Lee Harvey Valerii through the mob and Callie Ruby blows her away. As soon as I saw the slo-mo perp walk, I said to my wife, "This is going to be the Oswald scene isn't it?"
Good to see Adama back on his feet.

My thoughts on "Resistance", Episode 204:
* Man, do I feel for Tigh - and poor Hammerhead! Tough situation that just went down hill. Tigh isn't a bad guy, just not what I'd call terribly imaginative and he's very insecure. Poor bastiche. Doc Cottle needs to put his posterior on a Detox Program, man.
* Gotta love when almost the entire crew is seditious in some form or another! Well, at least in this case. Lessee... Who all was involved...? Prolly easier to ask "who wasn't involved?", I guess. I have another reason to love Dualla now. ;)
* While I knew they weren't going to kill Starbuck or Helo, I was afearin' that they were gonna get Shot Up Real Good and end up hookin' up with the Resistance in some other fashion. And speakin' of Hookin' Up, guess Starbuck's found her next Frak Buddy.
* Anybody else catch how Anders has a strong resemblance to Lee Adama...?
* Love Doc Cottle! "You are a poor salesman." :D
* Laura Roslin's got Karasma! That's the second time she's used her Jedi Mind Trick on someone. Or is it The Weirding Way? I dunno, but she sure as spit can put The Whammy on people!
* Notice how Apollo didn't actually perform any seditious acts amongst the crew? He's kept to his parole. Heh...
* I'm even more convinced then ever that Ellen Tigh is a Cylon! Frakkin' Witch (W= B) is drivin' Saul to do the stuff he's done, further destabilizing the RTF. She knows what she's doing and it ain't 'cause she's just on a power trip, either.
* Eight Cylon's in The Fleet, eh? I wonder who else is a Cylon and how far Baltar and his dementia created Six are going to go with this?
* I'm even more convinced than ever that Six is indeed just in Baltar's head. Her rants/party line has a buzzing going on in my head. At least he had a nice recovery for the "I thought you tested her?!?" that Tigh gave him.
* Baltar's got some big brass one's, doesn't he? I wonder just how far he was willing to go with that thing w/Tyrol? Definitely has a cruel streak developing, that one.
* I think my thoughts on Tom Zarek are true. He's no longer the extremist zealot he was before. I think he's still a driven guy and will likely go to great lengths to get things done as he sees it, but I think he's really given up his terrorist days and honestly just wants what he's got in his head is best for what's left of the Colonies. That disappointed look he gave Roslin when she brushed by him hammered it home for me.
* The Old Man's back! He's way too forgiving of Tigh, tho. Well, maybe not so much when he realizes just how frakked up their situation is. Hopefully, he'll pull his head out of his anal cavity and realize that Galactica needs the Fleet as much as they need Galactica and issues an end to Martial Law, as well as resinstates Roslin.
* Holy Frak, Cally! She finally snapped, man. I love how she went after Jammer! I think it's 'cause she's in love w/Chief and has been for a while. It's finally driven her over the edge, what w/the recent events and Tyrol being in jail because of Boomer.
Can't wait to see how next week's "The Farm" pans out!

It could be that Callie loves the chief, or it could be that Callie is a Cylon. Knowing that Boomers been exposed and getting rid of her so that she can't spill anymore beans.

Not only the Oswald/Ruby incident but did you also catch the riot scene? Reminded me of Kent State 1970, "4 dead in Ohio".

Nope, nobody played Jefferson Airplanes White Rabbit, Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze or Buffalo Springfield's Something's Happening Here, as required by law on any kind of sixties tribute....

Why wouldn't Boomer say eight? On the pilot they said there were 12 models and we've only uncovered 4 models so far.
Edit: Just read Griff's post #102 in the "Galactica Season 2" thread. Well, I guess great minds think alike :)
