The club I belong to is having an enduro at the end of the year and I was wondering what teh best motor combo is for an enduro. I read it sometime ago and could not find it when I was doing a search.

Thanks in advance

What are the basic rules for your enduro?

We do an enduro in our SouthWest Tour series, sometimes we've ran as much as 150 laps.

The guys get crazy like putting stock arms in Mod cans...and sometimes they even find arms that have more winds than stock. Back the timing off to ZERO and go for a long run...

What batteries are allowed? Can you change (Or recharge) batteries?

I once thought, if you make the car fast enough to put 1/2 dozen laps on the field really early, then you could actually make a 2 minute pit stop for a HIGH AMP recharge and go until the end...w/o CHANGING batteries...

I guess rules would have helped some.

Brushless is illegal

batteries limited to 3300's

motor is unlimited

it is a 2 hour enduro. Last year we ran over 1500 laps.

So, I would probably need somthing that is very effecient to make the batteries last as long as possible.

Use a handwound 19t arm in a modified can.....standup brushes. Use the CS or Reedy Plutonium brush.....Spring Purple/Purple. Set the timing at 12 degrees......never set it at zero....a motor archs more at zero than it would at 5 or so......
